I called FedEx, but they provide no resolution. I contacted Amazon.com, the customer service credited me back the money within 2 days. Good service.

They do not support Mac when it comes to firmware updates. You will have to bring the unit to a friend with a pc or mail the unit back to sharp for the firmware update.

It is a pain to use. It you stop in the middle of a movie or somewhere in the TV series, when you come back to it later if the power has been turn off, the disk starts from the very begining. I would not have bought Sharp if I had known that their players where like this. It makes it a pain to use.

This has got to be the slowest blu-ray player out there today. I didn’t even have it for a month and it has tore up. It won’t even play blu-rays now or any dvd for that matter. Crappy product. Will never buy another Sharp product.

The only problem I have with this unit is that it is not internet-ready. Updates have to be done by USB. That is why I gave it a 3 star rating. This is a very good entry level BluRay player.
